Eagle Mountain has quietly become one of the most event-rich cities in Utah County. What used to be a neighborhood where you had to drive to Lehi or Saratoga Springs for anything to do has turned into a city with a packed summer calendar, a thriving weekly food truck scene, a farmers market, and city-sponsored events almost every week from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
If you live here — or you're thinking about moving to Eagle Mountain — this is your complete guide to everything happening this summer in 2026. Dates and details are sourced directly from the city's official events calendar, the Eagle Mountain Events Department's 2026 announcement, the Pony Express Days page, and local recreation announcements.
Pony Express Days 2026: Eagle Mountain's Biggest Annual Festival
May 25–June 13
Pony Express Days is Eagle Mountain's flagship annual summer festival — and it's a multi-week event that touches nearly every corner of the community. Named for the historic Pony Express Trail that once ran directly through what is now Eagle Mountain City, the 2026 schedule runs:
- May 25–30 — Main Festival
- June 6 — Demolition Derby
- June 11–13 — PRCA Rodeo
Pony Express Days Festival (May 25–30)
The main festival runs May 28 from 4–10 PM, with May 29–30 from Noon–11 PM. The Grand Parade kicks off at 10 a.m. on parade day, followed by festivities at Cory Wride Memorial Park — boutique vendors, food trucks, local talent, and fireworks to close out the night.
Demolition Derby (June 6)
The Demolition Derby begins at 7 PM at the Pony Express Memorial Arena. This one sells out fast — plan ahead.
Pony Express Days Rodeo (June 11–13)
The Eagle Mountain rodeo has been repeatedly awarded "Rodeo of the Year" in its category by the PRCA Wilderness Circuit. It's been running for more than 10 years with attendance growing every year, and the board of directors is made up entirely of Eagle Mountain resident volunteers — making it a genuinely community-built event. If you've never been to a PRCA rodeo, this is a great one to start with.
Food Truck Rally: Every Thursday at Cory Wride Park
June–September 2026 | 6–9 PM | Free
One of Eagle Mountain's most beloved summer traditions, the weekly Food Truck Rally runs every Thursday from June through September at Cory Wride Memorial Park. It's free to attend, food trucks rotate each week, and on certain nights the city adds live entertainment and other activities. Genuinely one of the best free things to do in Eagle Mountain on a summer evening.
Eagle Mountain Farmers Market: Every Saturday
June–September 2026 | 9 AM–1 PM | Free | 5806 N. Pony Express Parkway
The Eagle Mountain Farmers Market runs Saturdays at Cory Wride Memorial Park, bringing together locally grown produce, homemade foods, food trucks, artisans, entertainers, and educators — all supporting local small businesses. The park has a full playground, pickleball courts, splash pad, and pavilions, so bring the whole family and make a morning of it.

Independence Day in Eagle Mountain: July 4, 2026
Cory Wride Memorial Park | 8–10 PM
Eagle Mountain's annual Independence Day celebration includes food trucks, live music from a guest DJ, and a fireworks display synchronized to music. The city recommends arriving early to secure a good spot — this one draws a large crowd.
A note on personal fireworks: Unified Fire Authority has established safe zones for discharge. Residents can check an interactive map on the city's website to see whether fireworks are permitted in their specific neighborhood.
Nearby: Stadium of Fire in Provo (July 4, 2026)
If you're looking for a bigger July 4th experience, Brad Paisley is headlining the Altabank Stadium of Fire at LaVell Edwards Stadium at BYU in Provo — about 30 minutes from Eagle Mountain. The event also features Nitro Circus, GENTRI, military flyovers, skydivers, and a massive fireworks and drone finale as part of the nation's 250th anniversary celebration.
Summer Bash & Laser Show: Late July 2026
Cory Wride Memorial Park | Free
Eagle Mountain's Summer Bash features a laser light show set to music, bounce houses, a patriotic kids' parade, a pie eating contest, and more — all free. Based on last year's date of July 26, this event typically lands in late July. Watch the city's official events calendar for the confirmed 2026 date.
Movie in the Park: Monthly All Summer
Cory Wride Memorial Park | Free
Eagle Mountain's monthly Movie in the Park series features family-friendly films under the stars. Bring blankets, snacks, and the whole family. The August 21 date is confirmed; earlier summer screenings will be announced on the city calendar.
Back-to-School Night: August 1, 2026
Cory Wride Memorial Park
Back-to-School Night lets kids meet their teachers before the year starts, with school booths, a crossing guard meet-and-greet, food trucks, live entertainment, and participation from the Sheriff's office and Unified Fire Authority. If you have kids starting school in Eagle Mountain this fall, this one is genuinely useful beyond just being fun.
ShopFest Utah: September 12, 2026
Cory Wride Memorial Park | Free
ShopFest Utah is a one-day, family-friendly small-business street fair bringing together hundreds of vendors from more than 30 Utah cities — local artisans, food trucks, live music, kids' activities, and hot-air balloons.
